Soooo, everyone has preferences and I can’t speak for everyone so take what I say with a grain of salt. For me the matcha flavor was good but it wasn’t as creamy as I prefer my drinks to be. I like more of a creamy feel this was more watery, but again to each their own. I did like that it wasn’t too sweet or too bitter. The banana flavour was slightly there, I’m a big back so I like lots of flavor and creaminess so my bad. The vibe is performative and very college art student. If you’re a college art student who wants to look cool, this is your place girly. It’s also really cute inside and looks like they have a roof top maybe? I didnt see anybody out there. Anyways, it was good but not my vibe. If you prefer more of a thinner consistency and mild flavours with a cute artsy vibe, this is your place.

I love that this place is dairy-free! The banana pudding matcha is the best matcha I’ve ever had! They don’t have a lot of space and will sell out of pastries fast, so FYI if you’re looking for food. It’s a small women-owned cafe so show grace on wait times. Overall good vibes!

This place is such a vibe, especially if you love matcha. I haven’t had matcha this good outside of Japan, and other coffee shops’ matcha lattes just don’t compare. The space is small with not a ton of seating but I’ve never had a problem on a weekday afternoon. It’s a cute place to get some work done or read a book. The drinks are very expensive. I understand why, and it is evident in the high quality of the drinks served, but in this economy, $10 for a matcha is not really affordable and prevents me from coming here as often as I would like. I love that everything is dairy free/vegan and (mostly) gluten free. I just wish it were a little more affordable for people in the neighborhood.

Fantastic drinks, friendly staff, and impeccable vibe! I love all the fun matcha flavors they always offer. They always ensure there is enough matcha so that the matcha-ness can come through! This is one of the first places in the US where I felt like I was back in Japan after having a matcha here :) I also love their mango sticky rice drink - I can't stop thinking about it! You can tell they put a lot of thought and love into the quality and creativity of their drinks!

I’ve been a long time customer of Sml Wrld as their pop up at Hot Bones used to be in my neighborhood so I can definitely review this place honestly as I’ve tried them during their pop up times and their brick and mortar cafe times. I went to Sml Wrld their opening day & it was wonderful. I got the Salted Date Matcha and the Mango Sticky rice tea…both excellent in taste and presentation. The space itself is spacious & airy with lots of nice natural light & plants. Customer service is always very friendly & helpful. If you ever have any questions on any of the drinks they carefully explain. The owner of the cafe is there a lot of the time and is very thoughtful & kind as well. The drinks always come out really funky & unique in appearance which I love. Matcha is always smooth. I would say because of the recipes always give it a good stir to get the best experience but even if you don’t it’s still great. Overall I would say if you really enjoy matcha as a natural experience paired with real ingredient syrups this is the place for you. If you enjoy a matcha as a piece of cake with ten million pounds of sugar and no real thought put into the presentation or recipes of the drink, go
